Nadi out to beat Ba

The Nadi football side wants to maintain consistency in the Vodafone Premier League competition.

The Jetsetters play Ba this weekend and want to continue with the good form after a top two finish at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament last week.

Team President, Javed Ahmed says, they have a lot of respect for Ba but will be out to win this weekend.

“We know we have come off a good tournament but we need to maintain consistency in the League. Ba is a good side with a lot of young players. Competition in the national league is really tight and we need to start winning matches.”

Nadi plays Ba at 3pm on Saturday at Govind Park and you can catch a live commentary of the match on Radio Fiji Two, with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.

In other matches, Rewa plays Dreketi at 3.30pm on Saturday at Labasa’s Subrail Park before which Labasa takes on Suva at 1.30pm.

At the same venue on Sunday, Dreketi plays Suva at 1.30pm after which Labasa battles Rewa at 3.30pm.

Lautoka takes on Rakiraki at 3pm at Churchill Park on Sunday.
