Nadi-Lautoka protest hearing today

Lautoka Football Association is confident of retaining its three points gained after the 3-1 win over Nadi at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants last night.

Nadi filed a protest against Jone Nailogi, claiming Lautoka applied for the transfer of the player after the transfer window had closed.

The hearing will take place at 5pm today.

Lautoka football president Shalendra Prasad says they have all the evidence, which favours them.

Prasad says the information which Nadi used to file its protest is incorrect.

Meanwhile, Fiji Football Association chief executive Bob Kumar confirms apart from today’s hearing, there are a number of other protests, which will be heard at the Board of Control meeting on Saturday.

This includes those from the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League matches.

The hearing on Saturday includes Ba and Suva’s protests against Labasa, while Tailevu Naitasiri’s protests against Nasinu and Lami will also be heard.

Rewa’s protest against Tavua is also on the agenda.
