Nadi hoping to go one better

September 30, 2015 4:43 am

The Nadi football side is looking to go one better in the Courts Inter-District Championships which starts this weekend.

The Jetsetters have been losing finalists for the past two years and team President, Navneeda Goundar says it’s about time they lift their performance.

“We lost in the two continuous finals in both 2013 and 2014. Both matches were both in extra time, so we can’t predict any teams now.”

Goundar adds the players are well on track with their preparations.

Nadi will host Lautoka at 4pm on Sunday at the Prince Charles Park while Ba takes on Nadroga at 2pm.

On Saturday, Labasa plays Rewa at Subrail Park at 3pm while at 1pm Suva takes on Dreketi at the same venue.
