Nadi hopes to continue its winning run

The Nadi football side hopes to continue with its winning run against Ba when they meet in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants semifinal at Churchill Park tomorrow.

Nadi defeated Ba in its opening match of the Vodafone Premier League by 3-1 and then beat the Men in Black by 2-1 in the away match last month.
Nadi Team Director, Azeem Khan, says the players are ready to beat their opponents once again.

“This season we have been very strong against Ba so we are very confident that we will go out in full force and try to beat Ba again.”

In the first semifinal tomorrow at Churchill Park in Lautoka, Labasa faces Suva at 2pm and at 4pm Ba plays Nadi.

The final is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in the RC Manubhai/ APCO Coatings International Veteran’s Tournament also underway at Churchill Park, Ba Legends held Rakiraki Legends to nil all draw, NZ Labasa beat Suva Master 1-nil and Tavua Masters thumped Lautoka Veteran 3-1.
