July 19, 2017 12:30 am

The Nadi Football side is looking forward to ending its 21-year-old drought in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants this weekend.

The Jetsetters last won the B-O-G title back in 1996 when they beat Tavua 3-1 at Govind Park.

Nadi captain Vereti Dickson says it has been a long wait and his players are ready to do the job this weekend.

“It’s long time Nadi won the last BOG but we have not done well in B-O-G {Battle of Giants} like for the past so many years but we hope this year we are going to do well.”

Nadi plays Lautoka at 3pm on Saturday at Churchill Park and in the first semi-final this Friday, Rewa hosts Labasa at Ratu Cakobau at 7.30pm.

The final is scheduled for 2.30pm on Sunday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
