Defending Champions of the Pacific Football Cup, Nadi has filed a protest against the New Zealand All Stars side.

Nadi lost to the Josaia Bukalidi coached side 2-1 last night and have protested against Abbu Zaid, claiming he wasn’t eligible to play.

Result of the protest is expected to be announced before games begin today.
Meanwhile in other games played last night Ba defeated New Zealand Nadroga 5 nil, AFFA Sydney edged Queensland 1 nil while Rewa and Suva played to a nil all draw.

Looking at the points table, Suva and Rewa lead Pool 2 with 4 points each while Pool 1 sees four teams of Ba, Nadi, AFFA All Stars and New Zealand All Stars tied on three points but Ba leads with the best goal average although this may change if the protest is announced in Nadi’s favour.
