The Nadi football side is counting itself as underdogs when it faces Suva in the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion Series this weekend.
Nadi rep, Luke Rawadamu says despite preparation going well, the players are nowhere near their peak form, having come out of the festive break.
Rawadamu adds this will not dampen their spirits as the Jetsetters aim for a maiden CVC Series title.
Nadi will be boosted by the return of coach, Kamal Swamy who was assisting the Fiji Under-23 side during its six-match tour of Spain.
Suva will host Nadi in the first leg of the CVC Series on Friday at 7pm at the ANZ Stadium.
The return match will be played at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Sunday at 3pm.
