Nabua ready to host Suva Zone 2 meet

Nabua Secondary School is looking forward to hosting the Suva Zone 2 Secondary Schools Athletics meet at the National Stadium today.

PEMAC Head of Department, Elemaca Ravulo says the school is ready to ensure the competition runs as smoothly as possible.

“Nabua Secondary has already prepared for the programs, and all the things that we’ll be taking part, or covered in tomorrow’s program. And also the sixteen schools that have already been preparing themselves under the watchful coaches of every schools and I think its proper to say right now that it will a very tough competition to most of the schools in the 16 schools.”

Ravulo expects the prominent schools to come out on top, including one athlete in particular.

“Especially with the presence of the giant schools at the tournament like Marist Brother High School and Suva Grammars and tomorrow we expecting Banuve Tabakaucoro to showcase his talent again on the tracks.”

The Suva Zone 2 meet begins from 9:00 am, so too the Lautoka Zone at Natabua High School.
