Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s Tournament Organizer, Mataiasi Nabau credits the performance of the Vodafone Fiji 7s team as it has helped the local rugby tournament in gaining momentum.
He made the following comments at the launching of the Nawaka 7s, last night.
Nabau adds the teams have responded positively and this has boosted the morale of everyone involved in the tournament including the organizers.
“It’s because the way the national team is performing at the national level creates the mentality of the local teams to participate tournament. It will lift the standard of performance in our local 7s tournament to another level.”
The 28th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s will kick off at the Prince Charles Park, tomorrow.
