Krishna Mudaliar will not only focus on his fight against Ulaiasi Qalomai next month but hope for a chance to fight for the vacant welterweight championship.
The 27 year is excited to be part of the welterweight category since the featherweight division lacks opponents.
Mudaliar says he looks forward to a successful season hoping for a title fight in the near future.
“Fighting in the featherweight, there was lack of an opponent in Fiji so I moved up to welterweight and I hope to have more local and international fights and prove myself.”
Mudaliar will take on Qalomai in the Westwood boxing program that will be held on the 2nd of next month at the Novotel Hotel in Lami.
