Mudaliar aims for knock-out win

Local boxer, Krishna Mudaliar is confident of a knock-out win when he faces Irfaan Khan in the Wild West Boxing Promotion next week.

Mudaliar says he has fought tougher opponents and is sure he will come out victorious in his next fight.

“I’m much fitter than before now as I have gained a lot of experience from my previous fights. Although I lost my last fight in Australia, so I gained some experience. I am quick now and I believe that I’m going to win this fight.”

Mudaliar adds he wants the win to repay his family, who have been supporting him from day one.

The battle between Krishna Mudaliar and Irfaan Khan will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next Saturday.

Meanwhile, Heavyweight champion Petero Qica will defend the Fiji Heavyweight title against Napoleon Taumoepeau in the feature bout.
