Unavailability of grounds has forced the Fiji Football Association to shift the Pillays Garments Champion versus Champion series to February.

The home and away based series was scheduled to start next weekend.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Bob Kumar says this will also give the teams of Ba and Lautoka more time to prepare for the tournament.

“There is a norm that players spend a lot of time with their families during the festive season and they also tend to eat and drink alcohol a lot. The shifting will give teams more time for better preparation.”

The new dates for the CVC is yet to be finalised.
