The return of Labasa defender, Waisea Druna has given the side full confidence to take on Suva in their Fiji Sun/ GP Batteries National Football League macth at home on Sunday.
Association secretary, Satishwar Chand says Druna’s inclusion is timely as senior rep, Livai Duguca serves his one-match suspension.
“Livai Duguca has been Red carded and he has to one match suspension but there are a few other young boys, who are students and they have been training with us very well and I assume that the coach is going to put them in the first line-up."
Chand adds new faces will play this weekend in the form of former Under 21 Ba rep, Vikrant Prasad while Samuela Katalau may be another possibility.
The Labasa-Suva match kicks off at 6pm on Saturday and a live commentary will air on our sister station, Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
Other league matches see Suva playing against Savusavu at 3.30pm on Sunday, Rewa hosts Nadroga at the National Stadium and Navua faces Lautoka at Churchill Park.
