Fiji Football Association coach Christophe Gamel says they are targeting to bring in more Fijian linked players in their women’s team before the Nations Cup in New Caledonia in November.

Gamel introduced US based Trina Davis in the Nations Cup qualifying round last month and she was the top goal scorer in the tournament.

He says there is few more players available abut they need to sort out their documents first.

“One back-line could make it into the team. We have some problem with the document and passport which is normal as you can’t come and say you are a Fijian. You need to show and prove it.”

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji Football team arrived in the country this morning after their 2-nill loss to Singapore in the international friendly match yesterday.
