The Fiji Island Baseball & Softball Association President Takao Mochida says they’re hoping to have Baseball as a sport in the 2027 Pacific Games.

Development Officer Inoke Niubalavu says they have a plan and they will be talking to relevant authorities about their proposition.

“For that to happen we will definitely be talking to stakeholders that are going to be bidding for the game. We’ll talk to the Pacific Games’ council with those that are involved with Pacific Games here at FASANOC, Sports Council, Ministry of Sports and all other stakeholders to consider our plan and we would really like baseball to be part of the Pacific Games.”
