Moce to face Warriors in final repeat

The Moce cricket side will face Suva Warriors in the final of the LICI Easter Championship at this hour in a repeat of last year’s final.

Moce defeated Western Suburbs of Australia in the semifinals this morning at Albert Park in Suva.

The visitors went to bat first and amassed 124 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Moce stepped up to bat in the second innings with Cocega Waqabaca top-scoring with 56 runs.

The defending champions’ recorded 128 runs to win by five wickets.

Suva Warriors defeated Suva Crusaders in the other semi-final, winning by a single run.

Warriors went to bat first and recorded 165 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs, with national rep, Seru Makutu notching 55 runs.

Crusaders went to bat and were all out for 164 runs.

Suva Warriors will take on MOce in the final at this hour.
