Meo ready for International debut

Fourteen year-old Ulaiasi Meo is looking forward to make his international debut in the 2018 Baseball Oceania Cup in Auckland New Zealand next week.

Meo who went to Japan for baseball training is ready to put his knowledge into action in New Zealand.

“I’ve learnt a lot from Japan and I’m excited to be part of the national team and I’m looking forward to play for my country.”

The Oceania Baseball Championship will be held from the 18th to the 21st of this month.

The winner will then represent the Oceania region to the Under 15 Baseball World Cup in July in Panama.

Meanwhile, the national under 15 team will leave our shores next Monday for Auckland.
