Menapi backs team to push for title

April 7, 2015 5:36 pm

Western United football coach, Commins Menapi is counting on his side to be contenders for the OFC Champions League title.

The former Solomon Islands international knows the tournament will not be easy, having played 17 matches in the OFC Champions League, first for Waitakere United and later for the Makuru and Marist clubs respectively.

Despite being grouped alongside formidable opponents such as defending champions, Auckland City, last year’s runners up, Amicale and Vodafone Suva, Menapi says his players have a game plan in place to win.
