McKee's assistants express desire to stay with Flying Fijians

Assistant coaches that took the Vodafone Flying Fijians to this year’s Rugby World Cup have shown interest in staying with the team.

Speaking on the 4 the Record show on FBC TV last night, Head coach, John McKee says, his assistance have shown interest in staying with the team and he hopes this can be managed.

“One of the pleasing things for me coming out of the Rugby World Cup is firstly the great contribution that all the assistant coached made and also their express and desire to continue working with the Flying Fijians and hopefully we can manage that.”

Tabai Matson, Frans Ludeke, AlIen Muir and Mosese Rauluni assisted McKee at the Rugby World Cup.

Meanwhile in the quarter finals played this morning, Argentina stunned Ireland with 4 tries to win the Cardiff Thriller 43-20 and Australia just got 1 over Scotland 35 -34.

In yesterday’s quarter finals, South Africa edged Wales 23-19 while New Zealand thrashed France 62-13.

The semi finals will be played this weekend and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
