McKee welcomes new laws

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee has welcomed World Rugby’s commitment towards new measures to limit head contact while playing.

World Rugby has announced new laws to prevent player injuries.

A zero-tolerance approach will be taken against reckless and accidental head contact in the sport.

McKee says the Flying Fijians are ready for the new law and will adopt it fast.

“It’s a very good move from World Rugby with player welfare. This aspects will going to help prevent injury and we know that there is high percentage of head injuries happen in the tackle areas.”

Meanwhile, Flying Fijians are expected to be tested in this area during the June international test matches.
