McKee wants to retain his coaching staff

October 8, 2015 6:42 pm

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach, John McKee says he would love to retain the services of his coaching staff after the side’s Rugby World Cup campaign came to an end this week.

The Kiwi mentor praised his coaching staff, which included Alan Muir (scrum), Tabai Matson (backline) and Frans Ludeke (line-out), who all played a major role in the team’s campaign in England and Wales.

“I know Tabai (Matson) really wants to contribute to Fiji Rugby over a period of time. Frans (Ludeke) will dearly like to continue to be involved but it depends on what his next full-time coaching appointment is, but he will be working hard to make sure that he has allowance in his new contract to allow him to come and work with us.”
