Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee will select his extended squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup by June.

McKee has been in contact with various overseas based Fijian players and is well updated with their performances.

McKee says he is aware of the players he wants to choose and is also on a lookout for any local talent that impresses him before the selection date.

“This year is a big year and I really want to get settle on the World Cup squad and I think June is probably the last opportunity to introduce some new players into the group and look forward to the November tests and next year.”

The Flying Fijians will play against Romania, Georgia, and Tonga at the ANZ Stadium in June.
