McKee praises players

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach, John McKee says his players can hold their heads up high after bowing out of the Rugby World Cup this morning.
Fiji was too strong for Uruguay, winning 47-15 to finish in fourth spot in Pool A.
McKee says the scoreboard did not reflect the intensity of the match and the competitiveness of the South Americans.
“I thought the boys did quite well for a lot of the game and then the wet conditions probably hindered us a little. Credit to Uruguay they were tenacious in defense that they snuffed out a lot of our attack.”
Meanwhile McKee brushed aside rumors of considering coaching positions with either Japan or France.
“There’s been some media speculation but I’m committed to Fijian rugby.”
The Flying Fijians will arrive back into the country on Friday morning at Nadi International Airport.
Tomorrow, South Africa takes on USA at 3:45am while Namibia meets Georgia at 7am.
You can watch the World Cup live on FBC TV.
