Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee says the return of seasoned campaigners, Seremaia Bai and Netani Talei, means he now has the best squad to select from for the Rugby World Cup.
McKee has named a preliminary squad of 38 players who march into camp on Wednesday.
He says there will be very stringent tests done before the 31 players for the World Cup are announced.
“We have some additional members who have now been added to the squad. (Netani) Talei and (Seremaia) Bai who were earlier injured and couldn’t be included earlier on and now fully fit and back in contention.”
Fiji is pooled with hosts England, Australia, Wales and Uruguay in Pool A for the World Cup. The side takes on England on September 19 at 7am.
