The Fiji Airways Flying Fijian coach John McKee applauded the performance of the local players who played in the past three autumn test matches.

Fiji defeated Canada in their last test by 57-17.

McKee says the National Rugby Championship was a good learning platform for the local players.

“The local players who were able to play during the tour played really well and that showed the benefits of the NRC competition.”

The local players will had back to the country this week while the overseas based players return to their clubs.

The next international outing will be in June.
