McDonald’s Fiji has been associated with the Olympic Day Fun Run since 1996, providing participants with t-shirts as well as the starting and finishing line in Nadi.
The fast-food chain today handed over $6000, cash which will contribute towards t-shirts and meal vouchers.
FASANOC Vice-President, Vanessa Kilner expressed her gratitude for the company’s continuous support.
“Olympic has always been a great partner with the Olympic movement especially since they have been part of the Olympic Games for a very long time and to partner with this event is just awesome. It’s exciting for the children, it’s exciting for the family, especially when we come together as one community. The theme this year is “Move, Learn and Discover” and it’s about getting together and getting active or physical on the day.”
The Olympic Day Fun Run will be held on the inaugural National Sports Day public holiday next Friday at My Suva Park and McDonalds in Nadi.
