Kylian Mbappe has assured France fans he is ‘fine’ after being forced to leave their first World Cup training session in Russia after a blow to the ankle in a clash with team-mate Adil Rami.
Les Bleus continued preparations for the World Cup at the Glebovets Stadium in Istra on Tuesday, but Didier Deschamps’s session came to a grinding halt when Mbappe went down in apparent agony.
Mail Online reports, the 18-year-old came off worse in a challenge with defender Rami and stayed down for several minutes, receiving treatment from physios before trudging off the training pitch to have his injury assessed.
