Matawalu to play key role for Suva in Skipper Cup

Suva half back Peni Matawalu will be a player to watch in this Saturday’s Skipper Cup final against Nadroga.

Matawalu is the younger brother of Flying Fijians and Glasgow Warriors utility back Nikola Matawalu.

He has been in superb form for the capital city side this season and was last week’s player of the match in Suva’s 23-20 semi-final win over Namosi.

Suva hosts Nadroga at 3pm Saturday at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Suva Women’s team have also made it to the Skipper Cup final and will play Malolo at the same venue at 11.30am after which Nadi Under-20 side meets Namosi at 1pm.
