Former Fiji 7s Olympic Gold medalist and Flying Fijians current squad member, Viliame Mata has been named in the Team of week after the first round of the Champions Cup.

Mata played at number eight for Edinburgh and was in superb form for his club as they beat Montpellier.

Mata was Edinburgh’s go-to-man with ball in hand and finished with 45 metres gained from 20 carries with four defenders beaten and he also managed two offloads.
