Former national sevens rep, Viliame Mata aims to learn as much as possible from his debut match with the Vodafone Flying Fijians against Australia this weekend.

Mata who first played for the 7s team in 2014 and was part of the Olympic Gold medal winning team, says his excited to play for the Flying Fijians.

“I just one to know the structure and the game plan before running on the full pace of the game and gelling well with the boys. This has always be my dream to wear the 15s jersey."

The twenty-five-year-old Nakelo villager adds playing against Australia is a bonus for him.

Fiji takes on Australia at 5pm this Saturday.
