Semisi Masirewa is being eyed as a player to watch out for in the Western Force Super Rugby side this season.

Masirewa, joins the Perth-based franchise on a two-year deal, and slots into the winger’s position.

The 23 year old shone for the Manawatu side in New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship last year and got a lot of interest from the Hurricanes, Chiefs and Highlanders but opted instead for the Force.

The Western Force will take on the Melbourne Rebels in their opening Super Rugby match next Saturday at 6:50pm.
