Marist was declared the U19 boys champion as they dethroned Natabua 38-37 in the secondary schools basketball that came to an end yesterday.

It looked like it was going down to the West but a last minute goal from Marist earned them three points.

This win has the Marist camp wrapped up.

Meanwhile, Adi Cakobau was crowned the girls champion as they trounced St Josephs 26-24 in an extra close struggle.

The U17 girl’s grade final, St Josephs defeated Gospel 43-27 and in the boys Laucala caused the biggest upset of the day after they outclassed Natabua 41-26
