Brazil coach Tite says that defender Marcelo is fit and ready to play in their FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Mexico tomorrow.

Earlier, media reported that Marcelo, who had asked to be substituted in Brazil’s 2-0 win over Serbia because of back spasm, risked missing the Mexico match.

Tite added that he expected his players to not only preserve the high standard they set in previous matches, but “raise the bar.”
