Maori All Blacks visit hospital

The Maori All Blacks rugby side visited the Children’s Ward at the CWM hospital in Suva today.

The side had an emotional meet with the kids at the hospital.

Maori forward, Akira Ioane, who will make his debut for the Maori’s against the Vodafone Flying Fijians, says it was touching for him doing something like this for the first time.

“This is my first time ever doing stuff like this. It’s pretty said seeing little kids like this. The kids with cancer, being sick. I feel really said.”

The Maori’s had their captains run this afternoon.

The Flying Fijians host the Maori’s at the ANZ Stadium in Suva at 3pm tomorrow.
