Lutumailagi cleared to play in Tokyo

Fiji 7s speedster, Joeli Lutumailagi has been cleared to play in the Tokyo 7s which begins on Saturday.

Team manager, Semi Rogoyawa says the top finisher received clearance from medical staff after a successful run in Japan today.

The side is currently being treated to a specialised Japanese masseur session and have scheduled a friendly match against Kenya tomorrow.

Rogoyawa adds they also received a visit from former Fiji rep, Paula Nawalu who resides in Japan and offered the team some timely advice to boost their campaign this weekend.

Fiji plays France at 3.12pm, Japan at 6.47pm and will meet England at 10.09pm on Saturday.

New Zealand leads Pool B with Australia, USA and Hong Kong.

Argentina, Wales, Kenya and Russia are in Pool C while South Africa, Samoa
