One player who is set to make his second World Cup is midfield back, Gabby Lovobalavu, who is trying to make amends from 2011.

Lovobalavu, who played in the disastrous 2011 tournament, says it is an exciting battle in the backline as players try to stake a claim.

“Yes have got a good depth in midfield and its all round in every position. In the midfield, we have healthy competition in the group and we try to help each in whatever way we can.”

The 31-member team for the World Cup will be named at 7pm in Suva. You can watch the coverage of this live on FBC TV from 6.30pm.

The team naming will also air live on Radio Fiji One, BULA FM and Gold FM at 7pm.
