Five primary school students from Suva will be participating in the 25th World Children Baseball Fair in Japan next month.

The students, Lemeki Biaudamu, Anare Balenabuli, Ilisoni Ravualala, Ulaiasi Meo and Kemueli Matanatabu will undergo a nine-day coaching clinic with players from other countries such as Canada, Denmark and the Philippines as part of efforts to promote the sport around the globe.

The Baseball Fair will be held from the 2nd to the 9th of next month and comes at an opportune time with Fiji preparing an under 15 baseball side to compete in the Oceania Championship later this year.
