Grant’s Betting Limited is anticipating a large number of punters will once again try their luck at its various outlets tomorrow form the Melbourne Cup.
Mainly referred to by horse racing pundits as “The Big One”, the Australian seven point three million dollar race is set to be held at the Flemington Racecourse where jockeys ride an estimated 3200 metres.
Operations Manager, Vijendra Sundar says local punters are already rushing to the Grant’s Betting House to place their bets on their favourite horses for the race that stops the nation.
“There’s a lot of hype and talk about it. The Diwali happening on Wednesday but people still manage to come here and they’ve shown their interest in the Melbourne Cup.”
The Melbourne Cup will be held today at 5pm and you can watch it live on FBC TV and on FBC Sports.
