Lift the tempo: Kolinisau

November 20, 2014 3:31 am

Vodafone Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinsau says his side cannot afford to lose momentum in the IRB World Sevens Series, as they prepare for the next leg in Dubai and South Africa next month.

Kolinisau, who celebrated his 29th birthday on Monday, says following Fiji’s emphatic win in Gold Coast last month, opposing teams will be using their performance as a benchmark.

“A lot of people didn’t know what to expect from Fiji. I think after Gold Coast, they know we mean business this season. We’re telling each other that other teams are going to prepare really well after watching us in Gold Coast so the onus is on us to train even harder to follow up on the victory in Australia.”
