Leading the national team to an international tournament was never in the mind of 16-year old Meximus Lestro.

Lestro says it came as a surprise when was named the captain of Fiji’s Under 16 team to the 2018 Junior Rugby Championship in Australia.

He says the squad have gelled in well and they have what it takes to bring down the Australian teams.

_“The boys were confident going into this tour and we have the size and we just putting in effort during training session.” _

The U16 side will play four matches in Australia this weekend.
