Leitch says Japan needs to be brave

July 29, 2015 4:30 am

Japan rugby skipper Michael Leitch says his team needs to be brave against the Vodafone Flying Fijians in their Pacific Nations Cup match in Canada tomorrow.

Leitch, who has ties to Fiji and plays for the Chiefs in Super Rugby will for the first time this season lead the Cheery Blossoms.

He says Fiji is a strong opposition and his team would like to use the options they have properly, and check out their own physical capabilities.

Leitch adds Fiji are big opponents so it’ll be a game in which the Japanese bravery will be tested.
