Fiji golf rep, Sam Lee is hoping for a better performance this year in the Fiji International at Natadola Bay Championship course in Sigatoka.

The 25 year old competed as an amateur player in the inaugural tournament last year.

After turning professional this year and competing in the PGA Tour of Australasia, Lee is confident of a better outing on his home turf.

“Last year, on the second day, I got a little nervous and it cost me a little bit. This year I’m a little more prepared and matured I guess in a way.”

150 players from around the world will compete in the Fiji International, which starts on Thursday, including former World Number 1, Vijay Singh.
