Vodafone Fiji under-20 coach Kele Leawere has been impressed with the commitment shown by the players as they prepare for the Oceania Championship later this month.
Leawere says the players are very dedicated and they have been cooperating with the coaching stuff.
“This is our eighth week in camp and you can tell the commitment of the players are up there and we have our eight games of warm-up and so in terms of commitment the boys are ready to go.”
Nine players in the squad were part of the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors who won the World Rugby Pacific Challenge Cup last month.
These players include skipper and hooker Tevita Ikanivere, Livai Natave, Jovesa Nasaroa, Taniela Ramasibana, Alivereti Loaloa, Simione Kuruvole, Caleb Muntz, Veresa Tuqovu and Osea Waqa.
Fiji plays New Zealand in its first game at 7pm on the 26th of April then faces Australia four days after.
They take on Japan in their final match at 7pm on the 4th of May.
