League player to pay levy

Rugby league players at all level of competition would be required to pay a levy from next year.

Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) general manager Tomi Finau says this was discussed in their meeting last week.

Finau says this will assist in administration and development of the game throughout Fiji.

This is allow the development of the game in Fiji. Secondary schools and club players will have to pay a levy. the school competition will be starting in February where all players, coaches and managers will require to be members fees to the Fiji National Rugby League.

Even secondary schools will be paying a levy.

There has also been a decision to restrict the number of teams in the age grade competition.
