Lautoka through to semifinal

The Lautoka football is the first team to book its place in the semi-final after the side ended its game against Tavua 1-all in its last pool match of the Vodafone Fiji FACT currently underway at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park.

Mosim Khan of Tavua scored their goal in the 40th minute of play to put them into the lead 1-nil at half time.

Zibraaz Sahib of Lautoka then equalizes in the 85th minute from the penalty spot in the second spell.

Lautoka Coach Kamal Swamy says they will need to work on their mental fitness as they will now turn their focus on the semi-final.

“Our concentration is going down and we need to get them back on track. They know football because they’ve been playing and I think its just mental finess that we need to work on.”

Tavua will await for the result of Nadi versus Suva match later today.

Meanwhile, Ba is currently playing Dreketi at, Nadi to battle Suva at 3pm while Rewa will then play Labasa at 5pm.
