August 25, 2018 4:33 am

Lautoka has cemented its spot at the OFC Champions League next year after beating Suva 2-0 in their Vodafone Premier League match today at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Today’s win ensures the Sugar City can have another crack at the championship after they were humiliated by Wellington 6-0 in the final earlier this year.

Poasa Bainivalu scored the Sugar City’s first Goal when his clearance from his own 18-yard box was miss-timed by Suva goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau, while Benjamin Totori scored the second.

In tomorrow’s lone match Nadi will play Tavua at 3pm in Price Charles Park Nadi, where they hope to get their first win against them this season.
