The Lautoka football side has made it through to the semi-finals of the Courts IDC after thrashing Nasinu 8-0 in its last Group A match at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
The Blues led 4-0 at half time.
Benjamin Totori scored a hatrick and other goals came from Zibraaz Sahib, Samuela Nabenia, Samuela Drudru, Sairusi Nalaubu and Bakalevu Vosuqa.
Coach Kamal Swamy says their game plan worked well with them.
“We knew what Nasinu was playing and we came out with our own strategies and we just work on our formation against different teams and I think this was the formation we need to work on and the boys clicked.”
Meanwhile, the Labasa- Ba match will decide the second team from this group.
Labasa needs a draw while Ba will need to win by 2 clear goals to qualify for the semi-final.
Suva will play Tavua at 1pm, Nadi meets Rewa at 3pm and Ba meets Labasa at 5pm.
