The Lautoka football side will face a mammoth task against Auckland City in its final OFC Champions League pool match on Saturday.

The Blues beat Madang FC 3-1 in its first game and defeated AS Venus 2-1 today.
The Lautoka versus Auckland City match is likely to decide which team will qualify as the pool winner to the quarterfinal.

Lautoka Coach Kamal Swamy says it was fortunate for them to win their second match today.

“One of the teams from Fiji has qualified to the quarterfinal which is a positive sign and we will watch Auckland and then see how we can play against them.”

Samuela Drudru was the hero of the side, scoring both the goal in their 2-1 win over AS Venus today.

Lautoka plays Auckland City at 2pm on Saturday.
