The Lautoka football side got its INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament campaign back on track with a 2-1 victory over Nadi.

The Jetsetters got on the score sheet first with a goal to Josefata Dugucagi.

William Valentine equalized for Nadi in the 30th minute after finding the back of the net from a free kick as both teams went into halftime locked at 1-all.

Lautoka then extended its lead in the 17th minute of the second half through Jone Vono Junior.

Nadi’s problems were further compounded after captain, Samuela Drudru was given the marching orders by the referee Salesh Chand for a dangerous foul.

The win sees Lautoka move into second spot in Pool 2 behind Suva.
