Latui beat Kafiga Samoa in first Rapid Rugby Challenge

The Swire Shipping Fijian Latui has beaten Kagifa Samoa 38-32 in the Global Rapid Rugby match that ended at Lautoka’s Churchill Park this afternoon.

Ifereimi Tovilevu scored the winning try for the Latui side after full time.

Tovilevu was at the end of some brilliant build up by the Latui.

Kagifa started well with a try in just the third minute of play.

But, it was John Stewart and Peni Naulago who scored two uncovered tries before Tuidraki Samusamuvodre touched down for a ‘Power Try’ which is straight out 9 points.

The Samoans played well in the second half as they were leading by 1 point in the dying seconds of the match before Tovilevu who came off the bench crossed over for the winning try.
